I am a passionate and dedicated individual with five years of experience as an English teacher and nine years as a English tutor. I have consistently help all my students exceed in their learning particularly at GCSE.
I am currently working as an English teacher in a large inner city Secondary School in Birmingham. I teach both Key stages 3 and 4 preparing pupils for their GCSE examinations. I am also a GCSE English Language examiner and I have experience teaching home schooled students.
Although I have an approachable and friendly method to my teaching, my lessons are designed to 'teach to the top' with high expectations and challenging content for all students to be able to make maximum progress. My lessons are clearly planned out and students are always informed what they will be taught from me in advance so they can be prepared and confident. My lessons are planned and carried out with the sincere belief that all students can excel regardless of their starting point.
