I am an enthusiastic and encouraging person, I greatly believe in the opportunities that learning offers and I am passionate about English Literature. I have enjoyed the academic journey that I myself have followed - I am currently in my 6th year of a part time PhD, which I find exciting and rewarding.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught as a Teaching Assistant at Stirling University for Undergraduate English students.
I have also privately tutored at the following levels in English literature: Masters level ; 3rd, 2nd and 1st years.
I have been a private tutor for Higher and Advanced Higher English for 6 years.
I also proof read academic texts at all levels.

Tutoring Approach

I like to encourage and help each student build up confidence - each student is an individual and I spend time allowing them to learn at their own pace and express themselves . I am a very patient person and I like one to one tutoring as I can build a rapport with each student. I am very well read and have excellent communication skills.
