Hello
I am a a teacher with 30 years experience as a class subject specialist in English & History plus 12 years experience as a Principal Teacher of a Language & Communication Resource within a secondary school. I have a friendly, nurturing approach to teaching students and believe in the philosophy of ‘gentle teaching’ and student centred teaching styles. I live in East Dunbarton and still teach part time in a secondary school in Bearsden. My interests are literature, Art , cooking and gardening. I have 2 adult sons and a Border Terrier
I have 30 years teaching experience in secondary schools 20 years working for Glasgow city Council , 2 years working in FE college in Motherwell and 3 years in East Dunbartonshire secondary schools.
I am a qualified Support for Learning practitioner and adopt a Gentle Teaching approach that is nurturing and supportive of students individual learning styles.
