I am a second year student at the University of Edinburgh studying Social Policy and Politics MA. I pride myself on being approachable and ensuring that all my pupils feel comfortable within our lessons. I have experience in tutoring throughout university having received excellent feedback from my pupils and their parents.

Tutoring Experience

I have tutored students throughout my studies at university having achieved excellent feedback and results from my pupils. I have built up great rapport with my pupils ensuring that they are comfortable within the lessons and therefore can contribute freely. My studies at university have greatly built my skills and knowledge in essay writing and politics, which I can pass onto my pupils. At school I studied Advanced Higher Modern Studies, Advanced Higher History, Advanced Higher Spanish achieving A's in the subject.

Tutoring Approach

I understand that a personalised approach to learning is the best from my previous experience tutoring throughout university. Just reading notes is not enough for some people. I go into my lessons well prepared with exam practice questions ready to test the student (with my guidance to ensure that they are doing the questions correctly) as I find that this is the best way to ensure that students remember information from their course but if this is not appropriate, due to my own experience in these subjects, I am equipped to cater to the student as necessary.
