Tutoring Experience

I have been a private tutor for over 2 years and have helped many students feel more confident with their maths ability by helping them to consolidate their understanding and by exposing them to newer and more effective approaches to revision. I like to share my techniques which are applicable to revising any subject and helped me to achieve top grades. All my previous students have achieved a minimum of a grade 5, with many achieving a grade 9.

Tutoring Approach

I begin by understanding where students are finding their subject difficult and understanding why this is. Through this knowledge I am able to help them digest the content more easily and then apply this to exam questions to improve their exam technique. By building skills in both knowing the content and how to approach exams it will become easier to approach unfamiliar questions independently.
