Alex is an amazing tutor, really patient, understanding and adaptable. She helped me to refresh all of my knowledge on statistical tests, and we also covered other areas of research and stats for DClin psych interview level questions, including how to critique papers and design research studies. Alex's help has been invaluable.

Right after the first lesson I knew that Alex would be able to meet my learning needs. I am a postgraduate, brushing up on research methods and statistics and I couldn’t have chosen a better tutor. Alex has been coaching me through my first assignment for my Masters. Before meeting Alex I was feeling apprehensive about getting back into education and writing at this advanced level. However, right from our initial meeting Alex put my mind at ease. She broke my assignment into a manageable week by week plan, keeping me accountable but also ensuring I didn't feel overwhelmed.Her passion and interest in Psychology is evident in our discussions, which help me frame and strengthen my arguments and help me research effectively. Even after a few sessions together, I am already seeing improvements in my writing and overall confidence thanks to Alex's coaching. She is a role model to me and I want to thank her for the continued support she gives me to reach both my potential and my goals.

Alex was very helpful and proactive in answering our initial questions online. Right from the start she demonstrated close familiarity with the AQA Alevel Psychology course. At the first session Alex arrived fully prepared.She conducted a useful needs analysis to start off, explained her intended approach and then quickly got down to work with my daughter, having brought along colour-printed materials to kick things off. She had already requested copies of recent class and test work. Alex has re-awakened my daughter's interest in the subject, and each session is extremely helpful. Alex always has the final exam questions and techniques in mind but makes the sessions really interesting and motivating. My daughter feels she can query any learning points ( not possible with her teacher at school) and says that Alex gives a clear succinct answer and then gets straight back to the lesson without getting side-tracked or wasting time. Highly recommended.

The sessions are well organised and very helpful. Alex is friendly, punctual and has a good teaching style.

Alex was excellent. Had a very good teaching relationship with my teenage son who can be tricky. she was very good at breaking down and explaining the subjects and made psychology far more accessible and understandable for my son. Very happy to have her help.
