Alice

I'm Alice Removed, and I've done a B.A. in Classics at the University of Oxford, and an MPhil in Classics from the University of Cambridge. I was a Latin teacher at Dauntsey's School in Wiltshire, and I'm now living in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire. I'm available to tutor Latin, Ancient Greek, Classical Civilisation, English Literature, and History, and to guide and support students through the application process for Oxford and Cambridge in all Humanities subjects. I'm also available to support students through 11+ preparation, and interviews for entrance to U.K. selective schools.

Tutoring Experience

I was a Latin teacher for a year at Dauntsey's School in Wiltshire, teaching years 7-13, including GCSE and A-Level preparation, and preparing students for Oxbridge entrance exams and interviews. I've also taught English as a foreign language in schools in Normandy, France. I've also worked at summer schools in pastoral roles - I have plenty of experience making things entertaining!

I take a very supportive approach; the goal is to build your confidence, and make sure that you feel comfortable with the material and all the ways you can tackle it.
