Hi, I booked a lesson with Alison. She sent me link to purchase the details once I have paid the fee to release her details . She said because o took 5 days to purchase the details she has given the slot to some one else. Alison contact the agency on behalf of us but they said I have to contact directly.
Can you please let me know in future how long they have to purchase the details so there is no confusion

I’m so very sorry that this has happened. I had only 1 available face to face slot on Tuesdays. It is unfair to expect me to “hold” that slot for someone for 5 days without any communication or commitment when requests are coming in thick and fast. I did offer alternatives but these were not to your liking.

We can’t recommend Alison highly enough after our daughter went through an incredibly difficult time resulting in a change of school and exam boards at the beginning of year 11. Alison’s kind personality enabled her to form an excellent relationship with our daughter and tutor her in Biology and chemistry, rebuilding her confidence and supporting her at the same time. Alison’s service was also extremely professional and together with her amazing support allowed our daughter to pass her sciences which at one point we felt may not be possible and she has now enrolled at sixth form. Alison has been professional and flexible in tutoring me for Phisycs and Chemistry, and has been available on short notice to add Biology to the set of topics I required help with. She has greatly helped me to become interested in the topics she tutored me in, and to understand and become proficient and confident with the main IGCSE concepts.

This tutor has just given up on me and has decided to no longer communicate with me.

Far from “giving up” I sent resources free of charge until I had a vacancy to take her daughter from my waiting list. The first lesson only went ahead because I insisted that 30 minute notice of cancellation was unreasonable. The second lesson was also cancelled despite awareness of other students waiting for lessons. This parent has unreasonable expectations regarding availability to discuss her daughter. Due to constant phone calls at unsociable hours and cancelling lessons without notice I have been forced to block her number.

My Son had few Chemistry Lessons with Alison and it has already made a big difference, He feel more confident now and with the help of Alison he will get really good Grades in Chemistry, Alison is full of knowledge, very punctual, very organized, she has lots of resources to help with other subjects as well e.g. Physics & Biology.
