Hello! I am a fully Qualified Teacher from Canada, who's been living in the UK for over 10 years. I am a teacher and a continued learner that bringing both expertise and international experience to support individuals in achieving their personal and academic goals.

Tutoring Experience

I have over 15 years experience teaching in several countries. I have worked as a primary teacher in England for the last decade. I have a great deal of experience teaching Phonics, English, Maths and all Primary subjects.

Shifting from my role as a full time classroom teacher, I'm currently focused on using my skills and expertise to support learners of various ages and abilities with their individual aims. I bring experience and knowledge working with SEN students and teaching English as an Additional Language.

Tutoring Approach

Working with people to understand their skills, knowledge, power and potential is a passion. As qualified and highly experienced teacher, I tailor individual lessons to the needs of my students. Using resources from teaching platforms, training, background experience and resources I've created, I plan each lesson to scaffold learning so that challenge and achievement is obtained in every lesson. Whether it is a little push in the right direction, or a great deal of support that is needed, I come prepared with enjoyable, engaging lessons that take care to understand, support and empower every unique individual.
