My name is Amira and I am originally from Egypt. I have an MA and PhD in comparative Literature from Egypt, I also have a second MA in translation and interpreting from UK. I studies teaching Arabic for non-speakers in Cairo University and in the American University in Cairo. Now, I am resident in UK, Cardiff. I have my own Arabic teaching Centre and teaching Arabic is my full time job.
I have been teaching since 1995. I taught first in Egypt and then moved to UK. In UK, I have a wide experience in teaching Arabic for non-speakers. I teach Arabic for beginners (children and adults). I teach Arabic for understanding Quran and Sunna. I also teach Arabic GCSE, and A Level.
My tutoring approach is based on my students' needs and background. I am a customer oriented tutor. So, the needs of my student direct me towards choosing the right material for him/her and choosing the most appropriate tutoring techniques. That is because I cover a wide range of client categories with regard to the age group and needs as well.
