I’m passionate about helping students succeed in Psychology and develop the confidence to approach exams with clarity and focus. With over three years of experience tutoring A-Level and GCSE Psychology, leading university tutorials, and teaching EPQ, I’ve supported a wide range of learners and understand that every student’s journey is unique. As an Executive Functioning Coach, I work closely with students who have additional needs such as ADHD, autism, and dyslexia, and I know how important it is to adapt lessons so that learning feels accessible, structured, and encouraging. I also bring my research background into tutoring, keeping lessons engaging and connected to real-world Psychology. Students often tell me that I make complex ideas much easier to understand and that my feedback helps them feel more prepared and confident. Above all, I enjoy building supportive relationships with my students and seeing them achieve their goals.

Tutoring Experience

I am an experienced A-level Psychology teacher with over three years of AQA A-Level and GCSE 1-1 and group tutoring experience, including leading first-year university Psychology tutorials. This year, 65% of the A-Level Psychology students I taught achieved A–A* which is above the national average. I have a thorough understanding of the A-level content and the exam technique with effective strategies that will help students master these. I also teach and mark EPQ at A-level and work as an Executive Functioning Coach, giving me extensive experience supporting students with additional needs such as ADHD, autism, and dyslexia. In addition, I am part of an active psychology research group, which enables me to bring current knowledge and real-world insights into my lessons.

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring style is structured yet flexible, with a focus on making complex concepts clear and accessible while also emphasising exam technique, extended writing, and critical analysis. I provide tailored resources, detailed feedback, and individualised guidance to help students refine their answers and apply psychological theories effectively under exam conditions. Lessons are adapted to each student’s learning style and needs, ensuring they are both confidence-building and academically rigorous. Whether improving essay structure, proofreading coursework, or developing strategies for exam success, my goal is to equip students with the skills and mindset needed to achieve their best and to love Psychology.
