I am a freelance violin and violist, working regularly with top orchestras such as the Philharmonia and the Halle, as well as different chamber music ensembles. I also do session work, recording at Abbey Road for various labels and soundtracks.

I am friendly, extremely patient and am a good communicator with both children and adults.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for 15 years, both privately and in schools. I have coached for MusicWorks, Dartington Festival, Blackheath Orchestra, Cornwall Youth Orchestra and Warrington Youth Orchestra. Iam also involved with a lot of music outreach, and have worked in Special Educational Needs schools, prisons and hospitals.

I have a 100% pass rate for exams ranging from grade 1 to Diploma, with a high proportion of merit and distinctions.

I tailor my teaching to suit the pupil's needs. I aim to make the lessons stimulating, challenging and enjoyable.
