I have a passion for teaching and believe that with positive reinforcmet that every child can reach their potential. I build strong relationships with my students that are based on mutual respect and of course a sense of humour! My lessons are engaging, fun and challenging. I use a variety of teaching methods dependent on the child and their needs. I get results and build confidence so that they can reach their full potential.

Tutoring Experience

I taught A-level Dance and Performing Arts before going to Italy to teach PE and English. On my return to the UK in 2013 I trained as a Primary school teacher and taught in KS1 and KS2 for 5 years. I have been tutoring full time since 2019 in English and maths and have a 100% pass rate for the 11 Plus exams.

Tutoring Approach

I initially get to know each child so that I can base lessons on the things that interest them. I use games as a way to engage and learn through play. I believe that if you have a good relationship with a child, they will trust and learn from you.
