Anna Vittoria

I am a 21 year old student at the University of Edinburgh, studying MA Arabic and History. I am half Italian and half British, was born in Singapore and grew up in Kenya. I attended Uppingham School in the UK where I sat my A Levels, in which I achieved 4 A* grades.

Tutoring Experience

I have tutored both my younger sisters for their IGCSE and Common Entrance exams. Whilst at school in Nairobi, Kenya, I tutored several of my peers in preparation for IGCSE exams. Furthermore, I mentored some students in my boarding house with regards to UCAS applications and A Level preparations. I work part time as a fundraising and communications consultant for a conservation non-profit organisation, which allows me to further hone my writing and research skills.

Tutoring Approach

I take a very patient and kind but thorough approach to tutoring. I never want my tutee to feel panicked or pressured to understand something. I am flexible and can adapt my tutoring to however best suits my tutee. I aim to bring both an understanding and an enjoyment of academic material to my tutee.
