Anne (known as Louise) tutored my daughter for A level French.
Anne was extremely supportive to my daughter and developed an excellent relationship and rapport with her.
Anne was organised, encouraging, engaging and ensured that my daughter both enjoyed and learned from the weekly tuition sessions.
My daughter’s grade for year 13 A-level French mock exam was a D however with continued support and targeted direction from Anne she managed to attain a B in her actual A-level, this meant that she got into her first choice University course - without Anne’s support I feel she would not have achieved this.
I would not hesitating in recommending Anne for French tuition and wish her and all future students of hers all the very best.

Anne was very quick to respond to our initial contact for tutoring our son taking his French GCSE
She was happy to travel to us even though we were slightly further a field.
Anne was always flexible to accommodate changes to days and times of lessons.
She was patient, very pleasant and well organised.
The lessons were tailored to highlighted weak points which needed more attention.
Anne helped enormously to build his confidence with the spoken element.
Initially the predicted grade for his French GCSE was a border line pass, with tutoring from Anne he successfully achieved a Grade 7

Anne was an incredible tutor. She worked patiently with my daughter, targeting her weak areas perfectly, completely acknowledging and treating where she was unable to understand the language. She somehow managed to bring my daughter's grade up from a 6 in her mocks to scoring almost 90% in the GCSE overall, securing a 9 of course! Me and my daughter would both confirm that Anne is almost the sole reason for such a drastic improvement in her performance, and we are eternally grateful for her service. Thank you!!

At the start of classes my son had never studied French before. For five weeks Anne gave him two hours of tutorial class five days a week. After each two-hour class she set my son homework for the day which was reviewed as part of the next day's class. Now, after five weeks, my son, who is coming to the U.K. from overseas, has a reasonable chance of holding his own in Year 9 having never studied French before. It has been a superb experience for both my son and me to work with such an approachable, flexible, organised and professional tutor.

His ability to concentrate fully for two hours and the fact that he has always completed the homework tasks for the next day, have both made my job much easier than it might otherwise have been. He has risen to the challenge and embraced it, to the extent that he is now truly proficient at the level appropriate to his age.
