I am currently teaching full-time education courses and supplementary lessons for a renowned Oxford tutorial college. I am an experienced and enthusiastic tutor with a passion for my subject and in helping my students succeed. I am skilled in tutoring a wide range of students of different ages and abilities, and have been teaching GCSE and A-level History (Modern History) for a variety of exam boards. In recent years I have specialised and completed training in the CIE (Cambridge International) course. I have been conducting all of my lessons online since 2018, and I am well equipped and adapted for virtual tuition.

Tutoring Experience

I'm currently working for the oldest tutorial college in Oxford and have so for the last 10 years. I received valuable training and experience in teaching all sorts of examination boards and levels. I specialise in the CAIE course from Cambridge but can adapt my teaching to most other boards too.

Tutoring Approach

My goal for each lesson is to build confidence, to create an enjoyable learning experience and help my students to reach their full potential. My tutorials are engaging and are using a lot of active learning elements. I am sensitive to the needs and aspirations of my students and can adapt any teaching material to the learning styles of the individual student. I’m a supportive tutor, having a clear and uncomplicated manner of explaining difficult concepts.
