I am driven, passionate, and dedicated to working collaboratively with students and parents to achieve academic success. As an academic myself, I have adopted many study and teaching techniques proven to be successful. I am friendly and adaptable, able to quickly build rapport and work well with diverse individuals.

Tutoring Experience

I have over 8 years total tutoring experience from tutoring school students in 3-1 dynamic to 1-1 sessions. I have tutored maths and the sciences successfully within my tutoring career. I also have experience with homeschooling students and students with learning disabilities. I have invigilation experience and can effectively write professional student academic references.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is primarily a medical study technique termed "see-one, do-one, teach-one." I demonstrate an effective method through the use of multimedia, then encourage the student to attempt the question alone before explaining to me their thought process and method. I also incorporate exam-specific technique and positive reinforcement to build confidence among my students. I encourage honest and open communication facilitating means by which students can give constructive critisism.
