Guten Tag, my name is Anni and I am a qualified German teacher. I am originally from Austria, where I obtained my university degree in English and Geography to teach in secondary schools. I moved to the Northeast of England in 1996 where I live with my English husband and our two sons who are bilingual.
German teaching assistant at two Secondary Schools, German teacher at a High School in Newcastle upon Tyne, parent helper during German lessons at a primary school, running a German Reading club for adults, coaching my two sons to obtain their GCSE, AS and A Levels in German (AQA).
Student centred approach, focus on speaking. Preparing for GCSE and A Level studies. Enjoy learning about the culture of Austria and Germany through novels, poetry, art, music and customs.
