I firmly believe that education is inspiring, and I will aspire to ensure that my students cultivate a love of learning and acquire the skills required to become independent, lifelong learners and reach their full potential. I have learned as a teacher that different children learn in different ways, able to use different learning interventions to help students learn and modelling questions will stand me out as a teacher that put the pupils first
However, my classroom experience has shown me that the life of a teacher is far more important than the limited scope of instruction. I began to realise that schools act as a society where teachers help and nurture one another, where the school is responsible for promoting an inclusive learning atmosphere for its students, and where children thrive in fields beyond academic competence.
I have discovered the value of differentiating, modelling and chunking teaching plans to prepare and attract students with special needs and the strength of tactics such as a well-thought-out seating schedule and fun learning competition. I saw students develop in the classroom because of my determined guidance, and these strong working relationships are starting to lead to higher grades. I have been working well across many departments to share information about students in an organised and diplomatic manner. During my placement, I started to learn better communication, leadership, behavioural management, and an understanding of the national curriculum.
