I am a consistent high achiever in all my academic endeavours so far, currently studying Archaeology & Anthropology at the University of Oxford. In 6th form I did pre-U Economics (D1) and History (D2), and International A Level in Geography (A). I currently plan on entering the world of finance after university, having completed an internship this year already. Aside from academics and work, I play football, tennis, table tennis, resell trainers and clothes and am quite a sociable figure.
During my time in year 12 and 13 in school I was a mentor in “Buddy Club” which was a system for older students to help younger ones with their schoolwork. I also have helped 2 people successfully get into Oxford, one for doing History and one Archaeology & Anthropology.
I am very thorough in my preparation for everything, and in tutoring I try as much as possible to stretch the students to ensure that they come up with answers and learn how to work things out, rather than relying on memory. Active recall is an important tool I use, along with trying to engage in debates and conversations to make the lessons as engaging as possible.
