Antonella

Antonella has really helped me gain confidence with my maths skills and has helped me realise my true ability and potential. She is very patient and kind. She is very good at explaining areas I’m struggling with in different ways, so I can always understand the topics or questions. She is always prepared and asks in advance what I want to work on, and plans and finds resources to cater to my needs. I always enjoy my sessions and always feel like I’ve achieved something by the end of the sessions.

Antonella and my grand daughter immediately connected both educationally and personally. Isolation meant a rapid change in ways of learning but the transition to on-line tutorials was smooth and did not interrupt learning. It is grossly unfortunate that all the hard work they have put in will not be taken into account by the 2020 GCSE grading system and that Antonella can not contribute to school grading decisions. But on a positive note tutorials will continue over the summer and if exams are taken in September/October she will be well prepared, will have gained confidence and self belief, which is all down to Antonella and her approach to learning, for young people who are struggling with Maths and schools approach to difficulties with this subject. Both my daughter and I have been thrilled with Antonella. Only after 3 weeks, my daughter has gained in confidence considerably and is tackling maths problems, which previously she found difficult. Antonella is both patient and encouraging. She is always on time and well prepared for lessons. We specifically requested homework, which is prepared for us.
We are very pleased with Antonella's ability as a tutor and would recommend her highly.
