Tutoring Experience

I am experienced in teaching at both Primary and Secondary levels in the classroom at mainstream, private and SEN schools.
I have also had years of experience with one-to-one tuition from ages 5 up to and including adult learners.
I have taught the mainstream curriculum based across all UK schools as well helping adults prepare for their functional skills tests and school-goers with their transfer tests to name a few.
I can help you prepare for most mathematical based qualifications, so if you're not sure, please ask!
My tuition has always been online and i feel that it is just as effective as face-to-face learning. There are many more resources at our fingertips, no travel costs involved and you can learn from anywhere in the world from the comfort of your own home!

Tutoring Approach

I offer an initial free introductory session so that we can get to know one another and work through a mix of questions together so that I can cater my lessons specific to your child.
From here i plan lessons based on area's that need work from my initial assessment or you as the student/parent/guardian can ask for specifics to be covered. Alternatively, i always ask the students if there is a topic that they would like to cover.
Following the lesson i email the parents/guardian with details of what we have covered and how the student got on with it.
