Teaching and passing on knowledge is something I find great joy and have using teaching as a method to solidify my own knowledge and understanding.

Tutoring Experience

Working as a Structural engineer for the past five years has allowed me to take on entry level engineers on various projects where I would teach and pass on knowledge I have learned.
I have given structural engineering lectures to the British Military engineers as well as setting out course work and grading individuals submissions.
Having passed the institute of structural engineers exam I now help run a course within the company, teaching and guiding engineers who are preparing for their exam.

Tutoring Approach

I believe to truly learn something one must understand the concept to a point where they can teach another, I would work with students to ensure they have a deep understanding of a topic to a level where they are able to teach another, ensuring they are not memorising but instead learning.
