Hi! I’m Arman and I’m here to help you overcome the challenges of maths and physics, helping you develop your understanding and boosting your confidence. I am a 3rd year physics student at Imperial College London and have tutored math and physics for 3 years. My studies have boosted my scientific knowledge and my experiences have helped me learn how to help you learn.

Tutoring Experience

With just about three years of tutoring experience, I've overseen lots of individual journeys, both educational and personal.

My tutoring began when I discovered my passion for helping others excel in maths and physics. Since then, I have tutored at various levels (from 11+ to A level), from 1:1 lessons to classes of 10. I have spent time working in a secondary school, where I investigated and wrote a report on different learning methods, and examining the effectiveness of them.

All the different tutoring experiences taught me how to refine my lessons to suit an individual or classes needs. I tailor my approach to fit a student’s needs and will continually adapt the lessons as the student evolves.

I’m dedicated to guiding students to meet their academic needs. It always fills me with joy seeing students get into their dream sixth form or university.

Tutoring Approach

My tutoring style is centred around personalisation and finding what methods work best with a particular student. This is done through analysis of the first lesson (free of charge). Beyond this, it is about constantly updating what techniques I employ, based on how the student feels for a given lesson.

I implore my students to contact me with any questions outside of lessons, to ensure we can begin the lesson as smoothly as possible. These can be past paper questions or general questions about a topic. I believe it is key to build a personal relationship with the student, ensuring that the student is comfortable at all times.
