I am an enthusiastic Mathematics graduate from the University of Sheffield, now pursuing a Master's in Quantitative Methods for Conservation, Biodiversity, and Epidemiology. With a strong foundation in mathematics and a passion for helping others understand complex concepts, I am patient, committed, and dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals.
I have experience teaching in secondary schools through a 6-month placement during my undergraduate degree, where I taught mathematics to students from various year groups and ability levels. Additionally, I have childcare experience from babysitting and teaching climbing at Rock Over Climbing in Manchester, which involved working with children of different ages and helping them develop new skills.
My teaching approach is calm and relaxed, as I believe that a comfortable environment allows students to engage with the subject without unnecessary stress or distraction. Contrary to popular belief, I firmly believe that anyone can succeed in mathematics. It’s not about innate ability, but about developing a particular way of thinking, which can be achieved by anyone with enough practice and guidance. Through my tuition, I aim to foster this mindset, helping students build confidence and develop the skills they need to excel in mathematics.
