I have recently graduated from university, and have begun the process for applying to vet schools. I am looking for work this year, and am very interested in a tutoring job, as I have not done this work, and I think it would suit me and my strengths. I am friendly and sociable, and enjoy teaching, especially my favourite secondary school subjects, maths and biology.
During my time at school, I volunteered at a local primary school, taking children for reading sessions and helping struggling children during group learning sessions.
When explaining something difficult, I tend to break it down into smaller chunks, ensuring the person understands the foundations before moving on. During my time at school, I found it easiest to learn when I could find and repeat patterns, such as the steps needed to solve maths problems.
