I love teaching and maths, which makes me great at my job! I am an independent school maths teacher in the UK and I have experience teaching students across the whole school range from year 7 to Oxbridge applicants and BMO competitors. I believe it is essential to not just teach students how to answer questions for the sake of getting marks but to help them grasp the underlying principles of each topic to help them think for themselves. My students often remark that I manage to make maths fun as well as challenging at the right level for them.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring mathematics for 8 years and have had various students from GCSE level to University level. I am a full-time maths teacher who spends a lot of his free time attending professional development programmes, as well as finding or creating my own resources for teaching maths.

At my school I am the enrichment and co-curricular lead in the mathematics department. In this role I oversee extension and enrichment material within and beyond the school curriculum and ensure that we are pushing our students and giving them the very best possibilities.
