I started teaching at Hampton School in 2004. Since then I have taught abroad in Russia and China before coming home to teach at Abingdon and now Kew House.

My Mathematics teaching experience is broad and encompasses UK National Curriculum KS3 to KS5. I have taught IGCSE, Additional Maths and A Level Pure and Applied courses in leading HMC schools and my classes consistently achieved excellent results.

I have also taught the IB AA HL course in Moscow.

I believe that my pupils feel supported, challenged and motivated by my Mathematics teaching.

Outside of the classroom I coach and play football and am a keen golfer.

Tutoring Approach

My aim is to improve students” confidence, approach and outcomes.
I’m able to visit, host or tutor online.
I have taught OCR, AQA and Edexcel, Foundation and Higher Tier. I would hope to provide value added of 1.0-1.5 grades.
I have taught pupils that aspire to top grades whilst also nurturing less able students.
