I'm a 33-year-old private tutor and LSA at Holy Trinity School in Wimbledon. I'm calm, patient and friendly. I teach Maths and Science up to GCSE level, including for entrance exams (11+). I also tutor piano and guitar, and hold a football coaching qualification.

I'm fairly busy during school weeks, so I'm only really looking for summer holiday or weekend clients right now.

Tutoring Experience

I have tutored on and off for 10 years and have been a primary teaching assistant for 4 years, with supply experience at a large number of schools. I have also taught English as foreign language in the past. As an LSA, I have a significant degree of experience working with children with SEN, including ASC and ADD.

Tutoring Approach

I recognise not everybody learns in the same way, so I'm flexible to teaching the topics and in the style requested by the student or parents. My approach really depends on who and what I'm tutoring. For younger students, I will focus more on making sessions interesting and engaging by tailoring sessions to their interests. For older students, I tend to focus more directly on guiding them through exam-style questions that they are likely to be more focused on.
