Tutoring Experience

Working as a Chinese teacher at Coventry Chinese School. Developed lesson plan covered all fundamentals required of GCSE syllabus, structurally supported students who are planning to take GCSE Chinese exam in the following year.

Working as a private one-to-one and small-group tutor. Teaching diverse age groups (students currently age 5-18), backgrounds and abilities (from beginner, intermediate towards more advanced level, including GCSE, IB).

Worked as a Mandarin teacher of ‘Mini Mandarin Players’ programme that delivered Mandarin session weekly to a group of children at EYFS and KS1. Led young children to explore Mandarin via games, stories, crafts and songs.

Tutoring Approach

Face to face 1 to 1 session, sibling session, after-school club (a small group)

Integrated ICT resources and gathered variety of in-class activities (e.g. game playing, competition and story writing). Students are highly engaged in learning in my classroom!
