Hi! I’m Blessing and I’m a university student whose favourite subjects is maths. I achieved a grade 9 in GCSE maths.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught primary school students both maths and english and currently teach two GCSE maths students.

One of my recent students went from being in Maths Foundation to achieving a passing grade in Higher Maths in less than a year!

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach would involve firstly going through the specifications of the exam board with the student and identifying which areas need work. Then I would explain the basic theories and principles of the topic. Next, the focus would be on encouraging and helping the student in trying examples that range from the basics to more difficult exam questions. I would also provide them with practice questions that they could try after the session individually and submit back to me in our next meeting, to make sure they’ve gotten the hang of it.
