I am 23 years old and have recently graduated from Stirling Uni with a 2:1 in English Literature. Through out my time studying English I have achieved an A band-1 in both SQA National 5 and higher. My expertise lies in writing such as folio pieces both creative and persuasive; having gone through the SQA system myself (and have a mum in teaching) I am very well acquainted with work at both National 5 and Higher level and will do my best to accommodate any student. Close reading (RUAE) is another I can greatly assist with as well as general grammar and punctuation; these are areas students generally struggle with as they progress through the SQA system.

I am offering tuition over the summer. These would be beneficial to students who have not kept up with the curriculum and need help with the basics of English before they can begin writing essays.

Tutoring Approach

I'm fairly easy going, and easy to talk to, I believe it's more important to establish a good relationship with a student so that they can enjoy the subject easier. I had tutoring in the past for physics and found I enjoyed it far more when I had a good relationship with my tutor.
