My name is Brooke Brant and I am a qualified teacher with over 12 years experience working in a primary school, local to Bilston. I love teaching, and whilst I have taken a new avenue in my career, I can’t wait to continue supporting and developing amazing young people!
My main areas of specialism are Key Stage 2 SATs assessments (maths, reading and SPaG), writing, Key Stage 1 phonics and 11+ grammar school entrance exams. My main role at my previous school was to support children of all levels (from those working at pre-key stage to those considered to be working at greater depth) to achieve their personal best in test scenarios. I also have a British Sign Language Level 3 certificate (Signature) and experience supporting Deaf young people through summer play schemes. Outside of these areas, I have a personal love for history and the natural world and would be happy to support students in these topics too!
I believe that every child has the potential to make accelerated progress with the right support, resources and environment - so each learning experience should be personalised to the needs of students! I also offer one-to-one online sessions for those requiring a more personalised, supported approach.
