An enthusiastic, friendly English teacher and GCSE examiner with seven years’ classroom teaching experience, I provide engaging learning experiences that target the needs of students and build key skills for secondary school and beyond. With extensive experience in education and a lifelong love for English, I help every student to develop in these ways:

Tutoring Approach

Since the beginning of the pandemic, I’ve tweaked and refined my regular teaching to work equally well online.

Students who have been learning online with me have enjoyed the lessons, and I’ve been really pleased to discover the benefits that online teaching offers. Screen sharing, for example, enables me to demonstrate good practice to students, while online whiteboards are a great tool for teaching pupils how to annotate texts properly.

As a passionate practitioner who takes pride in presenting high quality learning materials, I am dedicated to finding new, better ways of online teaching every day.
