I am third year Neuroscience student at University College London (UCL) with a keen interest on maths, physics and chemistry applied to neuroscience. I arrived to the UK in 2015, speaking no English and not understanding the English educational system. I then achieved the marks that allowed me to get into one of the top Sixth forms in Cambridge (Hills Road) and, eventually, the best university for Neuroscience in Europe, UCL.
I have taught GCSE maths to students before.
Interactive approach with the student, I am there to adapt to the student in front of me, not follow a one size fits all approach. I start by asking the preferred method of learning of the student, then I try it out and I see what resonates with them and what doesn't. It is a constant process that gets refined and between me and the student.
