Cat

Cat has made a huge impact on our daughter Orla. Before starting tutoring with Cat Orla had little to no desire to do any reading or writing and home schooling had become a real struggle. I would say her confidence at that time was very low. Cat's approach with Orla has been perfect! Cat has been gentle, personable, supportive and has made something that Orla really didn't like doing into something she wouldn't be without.

Cat's sessions are fun, interactive and perfectly suited to Orla's needs. Cat tailors all her sessions to exactly where Orla is, taking into account not only her academic level, her learning needs but also the more micro details of her day, such as how her day has gone and how she is feeling. Thus Cat ensures the sessions are appropriately adapted to Orla and consequently her sessions always result in more positive learning outcomes. Whilst the tutoring sessions are individualised Cat still follows a clear plan, where learning goals for Orla are clearly discussed and communicated regularly. Cat ensures we have a clear focus on where Orla is going and we can also clearly see the progress that has been made.

We have been very lucky to have found Cat. Cat has such a lovely manner, and you can see she genuinely is invested in helping her students. She has built a strong rapport with Orla that has enabled Orla to flourish. Orla's reading and writing has significantly improved since being tutored by Cat. But more than that we believe that Cat has been a real catalyst for Orla's confidence, to how she now views learning and to her overall happiness, which we are immeasurably grateful for.

Cat has really helped our daughter Amelia with weekly tutoring for most of this year. She has been struggling at school which prompted me to get her some additional support but after a few months with Cat, her confidence has massively improved. She has come on leaps and bounds academically and we will continue to use her services for as long as we can.
