Tutoring Experience
I have taught English across Key Stage 3-5 for 10 years. I am an assistant headteacher at a large all girls secondary school. I lead on interventions for students with SEND at my school and believe in an inclusive approach to teaching.
Tutoring Approach
I think it is important to use modelling throughout lessons; allowing students to understand what a model answer looks like. Questioning is essential to support students in becoming independent learners.
