Second year student reading the Economics Tripos at Trinity College, Cambridge. I specialise in OCR A-Level Economics, having achieved 398/400 in this course.
**NOTE: For term time during the academic year 2014/15, I will be limiting myself to 6 hours per week tuition due to course and extracurricular commitments. I am currently committed to tutoring for 1 hour per week throughout this period, so I now have 5 hours remaining. Once these slots are gone, I will direct enquiries to my peers studying at the University of Cambridge .
I have taught six students A-Level economics in my first year at university. All achieved a minimum of an A grade. References are available if requested.
In terms of structure, I stick tightly to the specification. I always teach with the exam in mind as success A-Level Economics is highly dependent on exam technique. I read the Economist weekly and the FT most days and have worked at The Economist and RBS, where I have been offered an internship for the coming summer. I will be working for 10 weeks with the investment bank Lazard over the summer. These experiences allow me to contextualise the theory taught in order to make it more engaging and interesting for students.
I am available in Cambridge during the following dates.
Sunday 11th January - Saturday 21st March 2015
Sunday 12th April - Saturday 12th June 2015
I will be available via Skype at other times.
