I am a qualified teacher, living in the UK and currently taking a step back from classroom teaching to focus more on individual learning practice. In my spare time, I am a trained and qualified herbalist practitioner and enjoy studying modern foreign languages.
Gained QTS and DBS cleared. I have worked in a secondary setting for two years and have taught a range of Humanities subjects specifically history (KS3 and 4) and geography (KS3). I also teach French and Spanish Language.
My approach is to create a tailor-made lesson to strengthen skills and highlight any specific weaknesses for enhancement. This can be done using cognitive strategies such as recall, formative assessment and getting to know you're students through professional behaviours. I am dedicated to my students and maximising their full potential and helping them to achieve the grades they require.
