I am a PhD researcher in Geography at the University of Manchester, which is fully funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). I am additionally a Fellow of Advance HE, awarded for professional development in higher education, demonstrating leadership, teaching, and learning excellence in line with the UK professional standards. I hold a first-class BA Geography degree from the University of Oxford and recieved a distinction in my MSc Research Methods with Human Geography degree from the University of Manchester. This academic background has provided me with a strong and comprehensive knowledge base in both human and physical geography, research methods, and study skills, which I teach at the undergraduate, master's and A level stages. As such, I am well positioned to enrich and support the learning experience of my tutees in geography.

Tutoring Experience

I currently tutor and lecture undergraduate and MSc geography students at the University of Manchester across a range of human and physical geography topics, research methods, and study skills. Additionally, I work with sixth form students in the Manchester Access Programme, providing them with tailored tutoring in geography. I have also previously mentored prospective Oxbridge students and assessed their personal statements, helping them refine their applications.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring focuses on providing well-structured, learner-led lessons tailored to each student's unique needs. I strive to create interactive sessions that engage students and foster enthusiasm for the subject matter. My excellent interpersonal skills enable me to communicate effectively and build productive relationships with my students.
