Over 20 years' teaching experience and prior to that 10 years using languages in export and business. Excellent working knowledge and fluency in Spanish and French, both of which I continue to regularly enhance whilst still loving the opportunity to keep learning.

Tutoring Experience

As an Associate Principal Examiner, and Examiner/Team Leader for the major examination boards (AQA and Edexcel) for over 10 years, across the examined skills, I am well aware of the demands of the exams and how students can achieve their very best.
I have taught all year groups, from prep school to adults and the GCSE results my students have achieved have been consistently strong, with my pupils consistently getting higher than their predicted grade.

Tutoring Approach

My focus is on making lessons fun whilst learning at the same time. I use a variety of teaching methods, personalised according to what the learner needs and how best they learn. The use of a variety of supporting material enables the whole experience to be enjoyable, engaging and productive.
