I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with 13 years of teaching experience offering one-to-one tuition for students in Key Stage 1 and 2 (Year 2 to 6) Maths and English. Tuition is delivered online using Zoom and includes an online parent/student portal that provides a simple one click access to begin lessons and access to a student calendar.

I believe that boosting a student's self-esteem, confidence and resilience is the key to driving progress. I take a supportive approach and encourage learning through conversation and exploration of the subject. Each child is unique, and I tailor my teaching to meet their individual needs and accelerate their learning to help them achieve the very best they can. I use regular informal assessments to inform the next steps in my teaching, ensuring that each child is making progress at a pace that is right for them. By creating a positive and friendly learning environment, I help students build their confidence and develop a love of learning that will serve them well in all areas of their lives.
