I am now taking on booking for the 2020/2021 academic year and providing support for those that can't currently attend school.
I am a Kings College university graduate with great feedback from dozens of tutees. I have passion for education and I have been working as a tutor for the past 10 years, tutoring over 100 tutees. I have experience working with youngsters and teenagers both academically and in a sporting environment.
I have an outgoing and enthusiastic personality which helps to maintain the focus of the tutees and make the subject more interesting than it may otherwise be in a school environment. I take great care in providing first rate lessons and have a genuine love of teaching.
I now have over ten years of private tutoring experience. While studying I began tutoring History, Maths, Geography and the Sciences. This carried through from my A-Levels to my degree and to now. As a tutor, I have taught a wide range of ages and abilities. Ranging from those trying to turn that A into an A* and others trying to get a pass.
Feedback has always been positive and working with my students we've been able achieve better grades than they would have otherwise.

I think it is important to focus my tutoring around the specific requirements of the tutee. I find it is useful if they can pick out particular problem areas or topics they are struggling with so we can focus our sessions around them.
When teaching Maths I find it useful to initially go through the textbook and past-papers questions. I can then identify any particular problem areas and focus on them to fill in any gaps in their knowledge. With consistent problem areas being algebra, trigonometry, circle theorems and probability. The aim is make maths more enjoyable, instill confidence and achieve results.
However, the most important aspect of my approach tutoring is to make it fun. If the tutee is enjoying learning the material and enjoying the tutorial then they ultimately perform better in their exam.
