Having worked in schools and tutoring Mathematics for a considerable amount of time, I am fully aware of what is required to be successful in achieving an excellent grade in Mathematics.
I have tutored pupils for the last seven years and have taken them from Year 7 through to Year 11 achieving some excellent scores.
I am capable of delivering my knowledge effectively and can use my wealth of experience and resources to aid in the progress of students of all abilities and needs.

Tutoring Experience

I have been working as a Mathematics teacher for nine years and hold a Mathematics PGCE and a degree in Quantity Surveying. I work at a school in Knowsley and have recently been appointed to Deputy Leader of Mathematics. I have previously held whole school Teaching and Learning responsibilities in Leadership positions and recently completed my NPQML which is the equivalent to chartership and enhances access to Senior Leadership.

I have previously led the full curriculum for Numeracy and have been tutoring mathematics with a 100% success rate for the last seven years.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is tailored specifically to each pupils needs. My first session will consist of a topic analysis which I will then use to establish gaps in knowledge and areas of weakness. I will then use this going forward to ensure each session is used effectively to boost progress and support where needed.
