I have just left 6th form awaiting my grades and aspire to go to University to study Biomedical Sciences. My goal is to give students the confidence needed to complete exams in their best ability. I understand the struggle and frustration of putting in the work and not seeing progress hence my mission is to give the boost needed to students in teaching methods tailored to them.

Tutoring Experience

I have tutored GCSE History (online) since January this year until the students final exam.
I have also tutored maths and English Language to a KS3 student this year.

Tutoring Approach

Once I have had the time to understand and know the students weak areas I tailor lessons to the Topics. I like to aim for 30 minuets on the content of the topic and the remainder 30 minuets on exam questions so that the student is bl to confidently apply their knowledge. However this approach may vary depending on the students needs. I do believe that practice questions are vital as it solidifies the students knowledges and builds the ability to apply their knowledge to unknown situations. Practice questions also allows the student to know and develop the understanding on what an examiner looks for in answers and how to articulate answers correctly in order to maximise marks achieved.
