I am a Norfolk based former research scientist with a lifelong love of learning and science.
My specialist areas are communicable disease and biomedical sciences, but enjoy all things life science, biochemistry and to do with the natural world.
I have 20 years science teaching experience in both state and private secondary school education. For 10 years I have been a head of department specialising in A level Biology teaching and preparing candidates for university entrance.
Additionally, I have experience of both AQA Biology and Trilogy GCSE and OCR A level examination marking and moderation as well as supporting students for whom English is a second language.
Learning objectives and needs would be identified before building a structured programme for learning.
Topic review followed by worked examples and guided exam questions would be used to build confidence and metacognition to enable further independent preparation for exams
