My daughter has been having weekly online sessions with Maria for a few months now and says her confidence in Spanish has grown so much, Maria is helping my daughter to get the grade she would ideally like to achieve in her A level exam next summer. My daughter feels the sessions are invaluable and extremely helpful. For non native speakers, it is a tough call to achieve a good grade in MFL A level and having Maria help her with essays, grammar, translation, board appropriate test papers and speaking is incredibly beneficial to achieving a good grade. Reliable, polite, friendly, knowledgeable and resourceful. Definitely recommend Maria.

Our experience with Cristina has been outstanding. She tutored my daughter for her IGCSE exams. The 2 yr course work was completed in 5 months with online classes and the results have been fantastic!

Cristina is everything the best tutor could be and so much more! With her guidance, help and support my daughter's predicted grade for Spanish A-level went from B to A in nine months of weekly hour-long lessons. Her comprehension, vocabulary and spoken Spanish improved very quickly and consistently and her confidence and enthusiasm for the subject increased massively too. Cristina is not just a brilliant teacher who quickly understands a student's individual needs and tailors her approach for maximum effect, she is also a really lovely person who genuinely cares about her students. That personal investment in their learning is clear in the thought she puts into every lesson. My daughter and I cannot recommend Cristina highly enough - if we could give her 10 out of 5 we would!

Cristina is a very patient, kind and resourceful teacher. She has been teaching my daughter for almost a year now and was instrumental in her achieving a High Achievements award in Spanish for AS.
Cristina knows what the examiners are looking for extremely well. When an exam board does not have enough information she uses other exam boards to support the student. A level literature appeared very daunting to my daughter but Cristina's reassurance, support and great lessons that give context to the periods when the literature books took place have given my daughter the confidence and enjoyment to excel. Cristina is an outstanding Spanish teacher and we recommend her highly.

Cristina worked with our daughter at short notice and over a short period of time (4 lessons) on the run up to her Spanish Advanced Higher exam as a wee bit of extra support was needed.

We felt Cristina was very professional, responsive and well prepared. Our daughter feels she has learned new elemenents of the language, improved and consolidated the areas she was focussing on and increased her confidence. All in all a great result over a short period of time. Now for the exam!

Cristina is a great tutor and we are continuing tuition twice a week up to the GCSEs.

Thoughtful teaching with constructive feedback. Has improved my 16 year old daughter's confidence for Spanish GCSE across all areas (speaking, listening, reading and writing). Very nice lady, good communication, always on time, good use of online remote teaching methods and knowledgeable about exams.

I've done three lessons with Cristina now and I've really enjoyed all of them. I was looking to continue my beginners level Spanish as a hobby and the lessons have been really valuable. We have started creating conversations and gone through verbs already, the lessons are relaxed and I am excited to continue!

Cristina is really an excellent tutor. She is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to converse with. Her explanations of grammatical structures new vocabulary is clear and easy to understand. She makes you feel at ease during the lesson and I honestly can't recommend her highly enough!
