I am an Emergency Medicine Doctor working for the NHS. I have a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education and an assessor for medical interviews across Universities. I provide prospective medical students the ability to master the skill of medical interviews and personal statements, providing them a greater advantage to others.

I am passionate about teaching. More so then excelling academically, I carefully teach the techniques and strategies your child would need to academically excel in their studies to set them up for a successful career in the future.

Working with children, enlightening them to the world of knowledge and setting up a good foundation for their studies is my primary goal.

I have received several teaching awards over the years from medical universities and positive feedback from both students and colleagues.

Tutoring Experience

I have over 10 years of teaching experience. I teach a range of subjects including Science, Maths and English.

Based on the child's learning needs, I formulate a bespoke teaching plan to ensure children are able to learn effectively and raise their grades.

I am currently an assesor for medical interviews in Universities. I know how terrifying and competitive getting into a medical school can be. This is a chance to explore different interview questions and how to answer them strategically to score your place in a medical school!

Tutoring Approach

I employ many teaching strategies. I emphasise on teaching key concepts through worked samples with students and go through past exam board papers with similar examples to ensure your child is able to comprehend and answer to their best ability. Dissecting answers to ensure students are able to gain every point on the mark sheet.

Additionally, I believe my classes should be an active learning environment and ensure students are fully engaged with the work.

The only way in which you can learn a concept is through recall method and teaching back the content. These 2 strategies have enabled my students to get into some of the top Universities in the country.
