I completed my degree in Psychology BSc at the University of Warwick. I have completed my placement year working in a secondary school as a mentor. All my work is off my own back and determination to get away from where I was from in East London and to start fresh at the University of Warwick. I now work in the field of data analytics but still have a very strong passion in psychology, which is why I still offer psychology tuition.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught 2 Autistic children "civics" which involved exploring topic areas such as sex education and religious education. My empathy was developed through this because children with Autism tend to have a slower rate of learning than the average person. I worked with them from October 2015 to July 2016.

In 2018 I have taught a class of about 45 primary school students a module of History for 5 weeks along with 3 other Warwick ambassadors. Through this I learned how to cope under pressure, and work well as a team. I did this again in 2019, this time teaching Law.

Over the course of 2017 to present I have also gained significant experience in tuition, with students coming from this platform and through word of mouth. My students found me to be very helpful and particularly loved the notes I provided. In addition to psychology tuition, I also tutor data analytics and SQL with Code First Girls.

Tutoring Approach

I will provide a full downloadable set of my notes after the second session for free. I will mark exam papers and questions I will do guided mocks with the student. Tuition is based at either my house, the student's house or online. I do drive so getting places shouldn't be an issue for me.
