- A current Head of English
- A degree in English Literature
- Have a wealth of secondary English teaching and tutoring experience at KS3, GCSE and A Level
- Have taught at academic independent schools and grammar schools
- Examiner for AQA - so I know how to get the grades up!

• BA English Literature degree a Russell Group university + PGCE qualification
• 10 years of teaching experience at high-achieving, academically selective London and Reading schools
• AQA examiner
• An experienced tutor on a one-to-one basis

Tutoring Approach

I am personable and approachable, and seek to create a friendly, hard-working and productive atmosphere in tutoring sessions. I aim to:

• Teach and reinforce exam technique: essay structures and strategies for the student to take forward into class assignments and examinations.
• Provide resources for students to revise from independently outside of tutoring sessions.
• Tutor with high academic expectations to raise attainment grades.
